This is the questionnaire that I used to survey 15 people in the process of researching for my music magazine. I found that the most popular genre's of music are chart and rock and the family and friends influence peoples music taste the most. This means that when I make a music magazine people may be able to find out about it from their family and friends and it will help the spread of my magazine. The most popular option for how often people buy music magazines was 'never' so I will have to produce a magazine that captures the eye of the customer and helps me to gain an audience from what I create. I think that I will make my magazine cost £2.00 because it is a reasonable price according to my survey. Covers attract most people to a magazine and so I will aim to create a cover that is both colourful and exciting with big cover lines and will hope to include interesting stories that will also draw the attention of the target audience which should be females aged between 15 and 20 because that was the most popular choice. I think that my survey was quite unfair because I gave the questionnaire to a classroom were girls hold the majority and they were all a similar age. I think if I did the questionnaire again then I would hand it out to a wider variety of people as my results didn't vary much.
